Surprised
It seems much has happened since I last updated the blog… I finally made it to Edmonton, Canada in August, after a seven month wait, to start a fantastic new job as a cinematic designer for BioWare! I’m still surrounded by boxes and haven’t put any pictures on the walls, but the move itself went really smoothly. I must be crazy, but I’m hoping I’ll get a white Christmas this year.
Also lots of good news concerning ‘The Snow Witch’. This past weekend it was awarded Best Story at The European Film Festival - in addition to one of the demo beta movies I filmed with Short Fuze/Moviestorm being nominated for Best Commercial Machinima(‘Did That Break Your Concentration?’).
Simon Taylor, the Snow Witch narrator sent me this link today, a nice piece about machinima and the festival by Dr Tracey Harwood LINK
‘The Snow Witch’ also made it to the cover DVD of Hugh and Johnnie’s super book for ‘Machinima for Dummies’
Hopefully now the move is over, I’ll be able to finish some projects….

I’ve not had much time to update the blog lately, due to getting ready for a major house move and finishing off the closed beta demo movies for Moviestorm (as shown below). Read the rest of this entry »

Janet a mum from New York wrote to us recently and asked if we could send her a DVD of Teddy Bears Picnic for her daughter’s kindergarten who were having a Teddy Bears Picnic. I could be wrong but I think this is probably the youngest audience to have watched an organised machinima screening….even if it was only a minute long!
