A pick from the horror section, in actual fact this series is the only film in horror on this list, it’s quite mild horror, ‘The Visitors’ by Decorgal, made with The Sims 2. I’m lumping the trailer and parts 1-4 together, as that’s how I watched them.

To sum it up briefly and without spoiling the story for anyone who’d like to watch it, it’s a story of a young family, living in a house with a ‘history’. The storyline is a well used one, and there are few surprises as far as the plot goes. However, I think the strength of this series mainly lies in the good use of sound effects and music, and the muted colours used throughout, which took away some of the cartoon like appearance of The Sims 2 and added to the ominous atmosphere.
