An entry I read on Overman’s blog today struck a chord and gave me a bit of a giggle, and Kheri too, which is a good thing as she’s quite ill at the moment with the flu. Anyone else from the Sims 2 movie-making community in need of a good laugh should take a look: ~LINK~

Overman may rue the day he ever defended a review/rating system on machinima.com,if he continues to read the some of the “gems” that are left in place of a review on Sims 2 machinima sites, and that one is priceless, but sadly it’s not the first I’ve come across.

There are many different types of reviewer, here are just a few (yes,they really did say these things), names omitted to spare embarrassment:

The Lemming, they like to save valuable time and bandwidth by agreeing with the previous reviewer’s rating or review:
“Okay, i didn’t see the movie yet, ’cause for some reason it won’t download, but (lol) i’m rating it 5 stars anyway, because it sounds really cool and…i’m just gonna go with the flow.
Lol, but i’ll keep trying to download it. So yeah! Awesome movie though, it sounds like! Keep up the good work!”

Teen-in-a-hurry saves time by cutting out unnecessary letters of the alphabet, saves needless strain on the fingers, more energy for texting on the cell phone:
“hey it’s me [cenosred] the one who signed ur gb on [censored].com, ur webbie, hey i emailed u and , now i just wna really say i wish for u 2 make a new movie, witch u can win a movie contest, otherway, i believ ur 2 buisy, but ok, well, wish for u 2 be around, cya”

Adult-in-a-hurry: enough said:
“Submit a review for this movie!
YES ”

Adoring Fan: love is blind:
“I didn’t care if the movie was bad i love allllll the [censored] Episodes. Keep up the good work”

Hapless Noobie: it’s a wonder they can find the button to switch their P.C on, let alone leave a review:
“Can someone tell me how to make movies? plz im new here”

Some of the movie descriptions are just as mind-boggling, but I guess I’ll leave those for another entry.
