Visiting Scrooge: Part One
Since it’s almost Christmas, I’m posting the first part of our two part series ‘Visiting Scrooge’. I finally had a chance to upload it to Stage6. It was filmed in the Autumn of 2005 and the audio production was used by kind permission of the Colonial Radio Theatre. Watching it a year later, I notice so many things I would do differently! That excludes the sets though, I think these were some of my favourite of all the sets we designed and of course the costumes by Besen and other talented artists from the TS2 community.
The series has been getting a little bit of attention on the internet this week thanks to a small article on Boing Boing. By far my favourite post on it has to be from destructoid.com “Dickens Meets Machinima. This is SO nerdy”. After reading that article, I’m seriously considering getting a pair of thick rimmed glasses for Christmas, so I can look the part of a female machinimator, the perfect match for a Christmas sweater
