We’re still alive…
Apart from the site redesign this month, we haven’t had a lot of spare time for updates and work on the World Tales series has been put on hold for the time being. Thank you to the friends and visitors who signed the old guest book, we enjoyed reading your comments. I apologise as I decided to delete it, thanks to the outrageous amounts of spam it’s received lately. It was set to only publish approved comments, but so time consuming and irritating to keep deleting the comments before approval. I know a few visitors liked to use the guest book as a way to ask Sims 2 movie-making questions, rather than email, so I’ve installed one on the blog, which has a superior anti-spam program. I don’t know what’s up recently with the huge increase in spam, but it’s crazy…the blog alone has received almost 3000 spam comments in less than a year!
In other news, we were very honoured that Hugh and Johnny from Strange Company, asked to feature ‘The Snow Witch’ as one of the case studies for machinima in their forthcoming book, ‘Machinima for Dummies’. They’ve started a blog of the writing of the book, you can read all about it here.
I’m still updating the tutorial as needs be, especially the useful hacks/mod page, as I come across new custom content. All the links from the old site have been moved to the blog also, so I can update them easily.
We have some very exciting news to post in the near future, as we’re about to start producing some machinima films for a very exciting project and company, as freelance work! More about that though in another post. I’m also getting ready for a big house move in the next few months (more exciting news to post another time ;)), so posting may be erratic, but we’ll still be around to answer emails.
I’m posting this Sims 2 parody for Jule, it made me smile

Good to hear you are both are doing well and planning new machinima projects. That’s great news about “Snow Witch”. I’m glad they are picking non-FPS type movies to study. Should add more variety to their presentation of machinima.
Good luck on your new projects. As always, I am a big fan.
